About Women's Aid Organisation (WAO)
Malaysia's oldest and largest women's rights organisation (est. 1982), running the country's largest domestic violence shelter. Provides phone counselling covering marriage and divorce questions, and refers to legal aid or their lawyer network for civil divorce/custody proceedings (WAO does not represent clients directly in civil cases).
