The Senior Mobility Fund (SMF) helps eligible seniors purchase assistive devices and make home modifications that support independence and safe caregiving.

What does it cover?

  • Assistive devices: Wheelchairs, walking aids, shower chairs, grab bars, bed rails, and other mobility equipment
  • Home modifications: Ramps, widened doorways, anti-slip floor treatments, stair lifts

Subsidy levels

Subsidy of up to 90% of the cost, depending on financial assessment. Maximum lifetime subsidy of SGD 2,800 per person.

Eligibility

  • Singapore Citizen or PR
  • Aged 60 and above (or any age if certified with disability)
  • Assessed by an occupational therapist or physiotherapist as needing the device or modification

How to apply

Visit an AIC Link outlet or contact your nearest Social Service Office (SSO). A case worker will guide you through the assessment process.

Approved suppliers

Devices and modifications must be purchased from AIC-approved suppliers. Your case worker will provide a list.
